2009 NATIONAL BOWL WEEKEND

The 2009 National Bowl Weekend will be held in DeLand, Florida on the weekend of

Jan 17 -18, 2009 . Deland is aproximately 40 miles NE of Orlando and 20 miles SW of Daytona Beach . 
Games will be played at Spec Martin Stadium .
Those familiar with the movie, Waterboy, staring Adam Sandler will recognize the Stadium .

National Football Events will be selecting teams to play in the following Bowl games ;

     Florida Bowl

     Palm Bowl

     North American Bowl

     Orange Blossom Bowl

     Sunshine Bowl

Many teams have expressed an interest in playing in one of these prestigious games .

National Football Events announces the schedule of post season tournaments.

USFA Metro Bowl IV
We will also offer the following inaugural tournaments.
Greater Midwest Football Tournament
Central States Football Tournament
USFA Southeast Football Tournament
Invitations and scheduling will be announced soon.
The Greater Midwest Tournament is available to those teams whose leagues complete their season in August or early September. All other tournaments will be scheduled to coincide with the conclusion of league play in their region.

Tournament winners will receive an invitation to play in a National Bowl Game in Florida during National Football Events, National Bowl Weekend. Bowl games will be planned on the January 17-18, 2009 (Martin Luther King) weekend.
